Right at the start of the planning phase E.ON proposed the expansion of the existing station containing a single transformer by installing a second transformer in order to satisfy the excess demand for electricity.
In the tender for Phase I, Protecta Kft. was selected to supply the protection and control system of this priority project.
In the current Phase II, E.ON will expand the existing 132/22 kV station by a 50 MVA transformer and the equipment relating to the 132 kV feeder. From the existing station the new ENB (Energy Network Building) will be powered at 22 kV. For this, the right and left buses of the existing 22 kV device need to be expanded by a medium voltage cell each. The measured feed cables of the ENB station will start from these two new cells.
