The new standard of earthing systems, CENELEC-EN 50522, and the more and more frequent appearance of high impedance earth faults pose true challenges for the state-of-the-art protection devices. In the last years Protecta has successfully developed and tested a new earth fault protection system based on different principles than before, which is now worth showing to the public on international forums as well.
