The the workshop covered the structure of selective protection systems including the protection of substations, of high/medium voltage transformers and feeders up to consumers. Protecta’ experts highlighted the application of the new numerical devices for special tasks such as the protection and control of parallel operating transformers, and they discussed the influence of extreme states of operation on fault currents and on the setting and operation of protection functions at the medium- and low-voltage levels.
The workshop was a success with more than 30 participants; we plan to organise similar events at regular intervals in the future.
