Spring Fever at Protecta

This year, we held our Easter event under a new name: the goal of “Spring Fever” was to take a break from our daily routines, prepare for the holiday together, and have a good time in the process. Based on the feedback we received, it was a success.

Spring Fever at Protecta

This year, we held our Easter event under a new name: the goal of “Spring Fever” was to take a break from our daily routines, prepare for the holiday together, and have a good time in the process. Based on the feedback we received, it was a success.

The preparations had begun days earlier: the girls worked together to paint the decorated eggs for the boys, so everyone had a personal surprise waiting for them on the day of the event. The snack table was filled with traditional Easter treats—ham, eggs, fresh bread, plenty of vegetables, and various snacks—but we also prepared meat-free options so that everyone could find something to their liking. The ham was a particularly big hit and disappeared quickly in the spring sunshine.

One of the most spectacular parts of the program was the folk dance performance led by Fanni Sosovica and Dániel Horváth. The performance was followed by a mini dance party where colleagues could join in, and many took advantage of the opportunity. The good atmosphere was also enhanced by the fact that two of our colleagues arrived dressed as rabbits, which in itself brought a smile to everyone’s face.

Of course, the traditional water-sprinkling verses were a must, but this year we added a little twist: the guys had to work with pre-selected words. They had to include phrases like “new platform,” “protection and control technology,” “consolidated base software,” “configurations,” or even “soldering” in their poems. There was no shortage of creativity—in addition to the funny and surprisingly clever poems, a song was even written for the occasion.

It was great to see so many people join the program, and that the joint preparations ultimately turned into a truly relaxed and cheerful afternoon. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the event—whether through organizing, baking and cooking, writing poems, or dancing or simply by being there.
