58th annual meeting of MEE (Hungarian Electrotechnical Association) in Szeged

Between 14 and 16 September Protecta participated at the 58th annual meeting of the Hungarian Electrotechnical Association as an exhibitor. The exhibition focused on the topics of Research – Development – Innovation. The event was an unqualified success; the overwhelming majority of the Association’s members were present.

First delivery to Ecuador

As a sub-contractor of the Finnish Arcteq, Protecta completed its first delivery of protection devices to Ecuador. In recent months months, we have supplied devices for demonstration purposes to several South American countries (Mexico, Brazil, Columbia). We are looking forward to receiving significant volumes of orders from those countries as well in the near future.

Restricted availability during the summer holidays

The majority of the employees of Protecta will be on vacation between 25 July and 5 August 2011. Nevertheless, the company will continue to be available: Protecta staff will be at our customers’ disposal to answer technical or commercial questions related to our products.

PAC World Conference - Dublin

Several Protecta experts attended the second Protection, Automation and Control (PAC) Conference between 27 and 30 June 2011 in Dublin, Ireland, where the most eminent representatives of the industry gather together to share their latest achievements and to discuss new challenges.

CIRED - Frankfurt

Protecta Ltd. will participate in the Frankfurt CIRED Conference between 6 and 9 June 2011. Protecta will exhibit its EuroProt+ product line at Booth 5.1, where our experts will be available to answer the questions.

Lévai programme of the Paks Nuclear Power station

Protecta Ltd. applied to be included on the list of suppliers to be compiled by MVM as part of the Lévai programme to identify Hungarian vendors qualified to participate in the extension of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant.

IEC 61850 training

Between 21 and 25 March we will deliver an accredited 5-day course ‘Application of IEC 61850 compatible devices in the practice’ at Protecta’s head office.

ENEL Romania

Protecta won the tender of ENEL’s subsidiaries in Romania (ENEL Muntenia, ENEL Banat és ENEL Dobrogea) to deliver 100 distance protection devices.

ENEL Italy

We entered into another one-year contract with the Italian ENEL, for the delivery of more than 50 devices from 2011 on.

Protecta Electronics Ltd. has been granted funding under the Central Hungary Operational Programme (KMOP-1.2.5-2007-0026) for the introduction of a new ERP system (SAP Business One).

KMOP-1.1.4-07/0-2008-0024

Protecta Electronics Ltd. has been awarded a grant of HUF 82 626 551 under the Central Hungary Operational Programme (KMOP-1.1.4-07/0-2008-0024) for the development of a new product line.
