Successful tests and certification in Iran

After extensive testing process and a 1-year test period, two main devices of our EuroProt+ product family have been accepted on the Iranian network, namely the DTVA-E1 (HV distance protection) and DTRV-E5 (3-winding transformer differential protection).The certifications issued by the Iran Grid Management Company (IGMC) and Iran Power Transmission, Generation and Distribution Company (TAVANIR), shall allow our Iranian partner, the Atrak Energy Company to distribute the EuroProt+ devices in the Persian country.

Replacement of the power minimum relays (PMR) of the main circulation pumps (MCP) at Hungarian Nuclear Power Plant

In the framework of service life extension, MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant Zrt. initiated a negotiated public procurement procedure in December 2017 for the replacement of the power minimum relays (PMR) of the main circulation pumps (MCPs). In the project, the existing MCP PMRs (bay control units) need to be replaced by state-of-the-art devices with operating time up to the extended operating licenses and a reliable service background.

Protection for CERN 2.0

The Geneva-based CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) is the largest particle physics research facility in the world. After the successful completed tender - which was won by OVIT in 2012 - for the modernisation of the protection and control system for its 66 kV substations of CERN, new tender was announced in 2016. The MVM OVIT Zrt. (The MVM OVIT National Power Line Company Ltd.) won this important project as well.

Protecta is going to deliver the complete protection and control system for one of the largest, 9 MW solar power stations in Central Europe to be constructed in Pécs.

Another successful tender of MAVIR transmission network
