Protecta relays in Iran

EuroProt+ devices are being tested in Iran for approval. The process includes type testing of each protection function then installing the devices in substations for testing in real-life situations. Meanwhile a training was held for our Iranian partners in order to get knowledge of using the EuroCAP software on Master level.

Achievements in 2016

We are proud to report that in 2016 we sold more than 2000 IEDs in the Hungarian and international markets. It is worth highlighting that over 200 Protecta-made protection devices were installed in the Hungarian transmission network last year.

Further, new protection IEDs on Hungarian distribution network

The replacement of the new transformer protection systems continued on the ELMŰ-ÉMÁSZ (Hungarian power distribution companies) network. Under this contract we upgraded 5 transformer protection systems in 2 stations. In anticipation of future secondary reconstruction works, we replaced the busbar protection system of 5 stations in ELMŰ’s network by state-of-the-art decentralised systems.

PAC World 2016 in Slovenia

Protecta is pleased to announce that the company will be attending 2016 PAC World Conference to be held from 13 June to 16 June 2016 at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.

MAVIR reconstruction

In the secondary system reconstruction project of MAVIR’ transmission network, Protecta Ltd. successfully bid to deliver protection and control systems for the Hévíz, Toponár 400/120 kV and Ócsa 220/120 kV substations.These projects are of particular importance for Protecta Kft. as they give the company reason to be optimistic about the outcome of subsequent tenders for the reconstruction of other substations.

MAVIR Felsőzsolca substation

As the next step in the secondary system reconstruction of the MAVIR transmission network, Protecta Ltd. bid successfully to deliver protection and control systems for the Felsőzsolca 400/120 kV substation. These projects are of particular importance for Protecta Kft. as they give the company reason to be optimistic about the outcome of subsequent tenders for the reconstruction of other substations.

EDF DÉMÁSZ qualification

The Procurement Department of EDF DÉMÁSZ’s Logistics and Informatics Directorate performed the qualification of our company as a supplier.

E.On award

On 27 February 2014, at E.ON Hungária Zrt.’s award ceremony Protecta Ltd. was honoured with a a certificate of merit as an ‘Outstanding Supplier in 2013’.The certificate was presented to Executive Director László Eperjesi.

Middle East Electricity Exhibition in Dubai

Between 11 and 13 February Protecta Ltd. participated as an exhibitor in the traditional annual International Middle East Electricity Exhibition in Dubai.

Training for protection engineers

Dear Partners,Protecta would like to bring to your attention its one-week training course for protection engineers, to be held between 17 March and 21 March 2014, which will focus on the theory and practice of power system protection.

ENEL delivery

In recent years Protecta has delivered more than 1000 EuroProt devices to ENEL for the reconstruction and upgrade of the secondary part of the transmission network of the Italian electric power system.

Cooperation in India

Protecta Ltd., in cooperation with YJOTI Co Ltd., its Indian partner, organised a two week product promotion road-show and visited potential users in India.
